Ever Ever since I can remember, my mind has always found a way to run free and escape to a world of creativity. Whether drawing, painting, constructing, or building, I have always been passionate about transforming and restyling areas to improve their aesthetic and enlighten their atmospheres. As such, I decided to study “Architecture and Urban Design” at the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology to pursue my primary interests, which were Art and Construction. During this time, I was introduced to the fundamentals of art, such as the basics and techniques in painting, drawing, and sculpture, from the most significant influences of Architectural Art, namely Professor Architect R. Natusiewicz* and Professor Architect Z. Jurkiewicz*.

After completing my “Architecture and Urban Design” studies, I worked as a University Researcher and Teaching Assistant at my Alma Mater and concurrently at Architectural Studios. Once I moved to Canada, I worked at major Architectural Companies in Calgary, Alberta.

I have over 40 years of experience, and many of my paintings created with various techniques are hung in private homes in Poland and Germany and in government buildings in Poland. My paintings became sought-after creations, so I sold the majority in private sales.

The pandemic paradoxically opened the door to dedicating all my time to my true passion. Time seemingly stopped, and I finally could hold a paintbrush without a time limit. The latest paintings are different from the past. They represent a new direction in which I am presently going:  expression through abstract form.

I consider art a never-ending work in progress, a glimpse into the artist’s mind, and an infinitive journey of self. German Visual Artist Gerhard Richter once illustrated his artistic journey in words that perfectly align with my artistic odyssey as a painter:

“I don’t know. I’m not sure. I’m still thinking. I’m still working.”
